President Uhuru Kenyatta Urges Youth To Shun Tribalism

Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the youth to reject tribalism and embrace unity to build a unified nation.
The President who spoke at the wedding ceremony of Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi’s daughter, Makena Murungi and James Bukusi at the Ngong’ Racecourse in Nairobi lauded the youth for respecting and tolerating each other irrespective of their ethnic origins.
Deputy President William Ruto who also attended the ceremony said Kenyan youths are overcoming tribal boundaries to set a foundation for a stronger nation.
The ceremony was also attended by several leaders including Nyandarua governor Francis Kimemia, former Cabinet Minister Chris Murungaru, former head of public service Francis Muthaura and former State House Comptroller Matere Keriri.
